Chronic Pain Coaching
Resolving the root cause. Restoring trust. Redefining recovery from chronic pain.
If you've tried everything and still can't find lasting relief, there may be a reason no one has told you yet. Neuroplastic pain is real, it's common — and it's resolvable.

You've seen multiple providers but nothing has resolved your pain
Your imaging results don't explain the level of pain you're experiencing
Your pain moves around, changes, or flares up with stress
You're starting to wonder if it's all in your head — it's not, but your brain is involved
About Nida
Hi, I'm Nida — a Licensed Physical Therapist and chronic pain coach specializing in neuroplastic pain. I help people understand why their pain persists long after the injury heals, and guide them through the proven process of resolving it at the source.
I combine rigorous pain neuroscience with compassionate, individualized coaching — because healing is both a science and a deeply human journey.
I believe healing doesn't have to be heavy. I bring humor, warmth, and real-life stories — my own included — into every session, because laughter is part of recovery too. And when it comes to the science? I'll break it down in plain language, using everyday analogies that actually make sense, so you always know exactly what's happening in your body and why.
A space for everyone
Nida is a queer woman of color who understands firsthand that healthcare spaces don't always feel safe or affirming for everyone. She is especially committed to supporting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities — people who are too often dismissed, undertreated, or made to feel invisible in traditional medical settings.
At the same time, chronic pain does not discriminate — and neither does Nida. All people are welcome here. Whatever your background, identity, or experience, you deserve a space where you are seen, heard, and supported on your path to recovery.
Nida creates a fully affirming environment where LGBTQ+ clients can show up as their whole selves without explanation or justification.
As a woman of color, Nida brings cultural humility and lived understanding to every session — especially for BIPOC clients navigating pain in a system that hasn't always served them.
Chronic pain touches every kind of person. Nida welcomes clients of all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life — healing is for everyone.

Client stories
These are the stories of people who were told their pain was structural, permanent, or unexplainable — until they found a different path forward.
Nida helped me regain my confidence and healing by introducing both physical and emotional challenges. She taught me about somatic tracking that changed everything. She is compassionate, brilliant, and a skilled teacher in the areas of neuroplasticity and mind-body healing.
As I look back on what was supposed to be a temporary assignment for physical therapy with Nida Tansinsin at Kaiser but actually lasted for nearly two years, I can only say that our work together was simply miraculous. I had a serious fracture of my pelvis and left hip right before everything shut down because of Covid. I did not have any access to PT for more than a year and then did start working with a good therapist who was going on vacation and suggested that I try Nida for a while. I never looked back.
During those two years she taught me about somatic tracking that changed everything. She encouraged and engaged me with both emotional and physical approaches and always offered a well planned protocol of challenges that helped me regain trust in my own body. While writing this review, I remembered the day she had me run on an agility ladder. I regained my confidence in my body and restored my brave and inquisitive self with her help. I will always be grateful.
The most profound moment was a visualization exercise — imagining no pain before and during activities that triggered pain. Without anticipating pain, my body stopped acting as an alarmist. I am fully recovered.
After having severe to moderate pain in my shoulder/arm/elbow for over four months, I sought treatment. It took only one treatment to understand and feel I had control over the pain in my arm. After two months of therapy (about four visits), I felt back to normal. Before my symptoms, I was experiencing an extremely stressful environment at work that was causing panic attacks. It was almost immediately after escaping this environment that I developed my shoulder/arm pain. No incident or injury caused it. At this point, I am fully recovered.
Nida said she knew I could be pain free — I didn't believe that at all. When I gave slowing down a chance, I realized what power I had. I lift heavier now at 39 than I ever have.
I had chronic shoulder pain stemming from my early twenties. It limited my gains in the gym for years. I even questioned if I needed surgery. I had tried PT, acupuncture, massage and chiropractic care before, with no lasting help. I learned that my pain was my body taking a protective stance and I had to treat my grief and stress in conjunction with shoulder exercises. When I gave slowing down a chance I realized what power I had over my shoulder pain. I am able to lift heavier than ever. I have had a few flare ups and I don't panic. I feel safe that I can reset; and that a pain free existence is possible.
I was skeptical of the mind-body connection and pretty sure I had an undiagnosed issue. Now I walk pain-free, exercise daily, and no longer worry. The mind-body connection changed the trajectory of my life.
I experienced hip/knee pain that began 10 years ago. When the pandemic began, my pain got much worse. After a walking trip in Europe, I came home almost unable to walk. An x-ray revealed moderate arthritis. Fortunately, I found Nida, who did a complete assessment and asked many questions about the history and triggers of my pain. I was skeptical, but after Nida worked patiently with me, I'm convinced this model was the key to my recovery. Now I work out every day, journal most mornings, and walk pain-free.
I not only avoided surgery, but returned to rowing stronger than ever. Nida gave me the tools and confidence to push past pain. What once seemed impossible became a reality.
When I first came to her, I was dealing with a debilitating hip tear that left me in constant pain and uncertain about my future in competitive rowing. I was facing the very real possibility of surgery. But Nida's unique approach completely transformed my healing journey. Her deep knowledge of neuroplasticity and mind-body healing combined with traditional physical therapy techniques created a holistic plan that truly worked. I not only avoided surgery, but I also returned to rowing, stronger than ever. To top it off, I even medaled in my first competition post recovery!
I tried everything — chiropractor, massages, braces, patches, changing shoes, changing sleep positions. Nothing stuck. What Nida taught me was to stop trying to fix the physical and start focusing on the emotional. My life is now 110% better.
My back was sore everyday, especially when I woke up. I had pain in my shoulders and my hands as well, to the point it hurt to drive. I had back pain for over 4 years. I tried muscle relaxers, changing shoes, chiropractor, massages, support braces, chair supports, numbing patches, changing my sleeping position, and changing my eating habits. Now I don't have to use any of it. What Nida taught me was to stop focusing on the physical side — instead focusing on the emotional side and why my nervous system was at an all time high. My life now that my pain is gone is 110% better. Even when some sort of pain acts up, I know how to make it go away without any pills. Thank you Nida!!!
